Confirm equipment requirements based on the handler and dog partnership
Introduce and test the use of equipment chosen to ascertain if it is suitable for both handler and assistance dog
Adjust or change equipment as required
Instruct handler to use the equipment safely, according to animal welfare principles, dog training regulatory and public access requirements
Evaluate handler's use of the equipment to ensure safety and wellbeing of both handler and assistance dog
Confirm that handler is satisfied with the chosen equipment
Document assistance dog equipment requirements according to workplace requirements
